As a third time collaborator with Isabel, it has been a joy to work on the DDE Made in Britain pop-up. This Sadie Dress has a flattering silhouette that fits gently at the waist before flaring into a full skirt. It has a soft V-shaped neckline with two ties that can be tied in bows. The centre back is fastened with a concealed zip. 

To reduce fabric waste, each dress is individually cut and sewn. It has been stitched with French seams, which produce a cleaner finish and a stronger seam. While it takes a little longer, we believe it's worth it. Making each dress takes 2 hours 35 minutes. The Sadie dress is designed and made in Hampshire and cut from sustainable cotton fabric. 

The clothes we make are cut with care, tailored to your specific order, in order to minimize fabric waste. A made-to-order garment promotes quality, a love of well-made clothing, and allows us to create the vintage of the future. As a mark of our pride in the quality of our making process, each piece is numbered and signed by the maker. It will take a little longer, but we believe it will be well worth the wait. We make our made to order pieces in a small factory in Hampshire. Lorraine and Julie are amazing and help us with small batch production. This not only reduces airmiles but supports local makers and factorys.
